Hojicha Kuromoji

We combined roasted green tea with Kuromoji trees that grow wild in the tea plantation.

"Kuromoji" is a thin tree of the Lauraceae family.

In the tea world, it is famous as a high-quality toothpick for stabbing sweets.

This gives off a really sweet smell.

In the tea ceremony, it is customary to take the Kuromoji toothpick home with you,

I think that before it became customary, people simply wanted to take them home.

Because it always smells good.

It grows as undergrowth (miscellaneous plants) around cedar and cypress trees, and is growing all over our tea plantation.

The branches are picked, dried, and combined with roasted green tea to create a flavored tea.

There is still a lot of Kuromoji available in terms of sales and harvest volume.

If this flavored tea becomes so popular, it will inevitably become a limited edition product!
